Hi, my name is Ilse Anna Maria!

I am a fulltime slow traveller and storyteller that aims to inspire others to travel authentically and ethically.

At 16, after my first interrail trip in Europe with a friend, I learned that for me travelling is not about ticking off countries from a bucket list, but about experiencing places, learning from cultures, and creating valuable connections with people. This is why I now prefer and promote slow travel. I am convinced that slow travel helps you connect with yourself, with the earth and with others in the most authentic and ethical way. But to do so travel should not only be outwards, but also inward. Besides being a slow traveller, I am also a digital nomad, visual storyteller and online master student and researcher of psychedelic plant medicine. Combining this with my initials, my blog iamallovertheplace was born. I hope that both 'sides' - inward and outward travel - of this blog inspire you and help you to travel in an authentic and ethical way!
